bragging rights

Ever since surgery I have been so lazy! Partly because I can barely move and partly because my hubby offers to do everything for me. And man oh man do I milk that part.. hehe I'm so happy that my physical therapy went from 8 hours every day to an hour every day! I feel as if I have all the time in the world to do anything! I went to physical therapy today and when I got home I walked through the door and as I walked around my house I noticed that my husband cleaned, including the dishes, laundry, vacuuming, dusting the ceiling fans and put Kyson's toys away! And the second I walked through the door he bolted outside and washed my car! My hero!! He then made me dinner, steak fajitas (so good) and made me a bowl of my favorite ice cream and we sat down and watched a SYTYCD marathon. Because I can't bend my knee as far as I can, due to surgery, he painted my toe nails! haha it was so cute :)

He actually did a good job
I think he may be trying to make up to me what Kyson has done to my house! Let me explain a little bit. Kyson is 2 1/2 meaning terrible two's. TERRIBLE TWO'S!! In the last week alone he has taken every color of crayon and a blue ink pen to my white couches, four times! And not just a little mark here and there, color everywhere!  I've scrubbed and scrubbed but its forever in my cushions. He ripped off one of our front room blinds and used it as a coloring book, used the window as a coloring book, and used our flat screen as a coloring book! The kids got a problem with crayons. Maybe he'll be the next Picasso?
Speaking of coloring, we painted our kitchen over the weekend and it was a bigger project than we anticipated! I took before pictures but I haven't taken any after pictures yet. But just to show just how cute my man is take a look at this..

I'm one lucky little lady

Well I just had to brag for a minute! Enjoy the rest of your week :)

Oh and does anyone have any secrets of how to get ink out of fabric?!

  5. Thad and I had to get tar (yes tar from the street) out of our couch and wd40 worked wonders. We even used it on all the stains on our carpets too. Not sure it it will work on pen or crayon but might be worth a shot
