we upgraded

Last weekend my husband and I redecorated our kitchen/dining room and our living room. It was a major success! We love it!! We're inching our way to a fully redecorated house. Next up, the master bed and bath. Anyways I've been meaning to take after pictures of our new look and never got around to it. Ok I was actually just being lazy... But on Friday Dave surprised me with a brand new camera. A camera I've been wanting FOREVER!! And its finally mine!! Don't get me wrong I had grown fond of our old cheap camera and it served us good until its last dying day. Moment of silence please...

Well now that that's over with, here's its replacement!

 

 

 I love it!

 

 Of course I just had to take pictures of something so I could play around with it. So I took pictures of our finished project!

We just needed some color in the kitchen and a not so boom in your face color in the dining room.

I'm not creative at all so I was pretty proud that I came up with this..

I love my new kitchen, I've spent a lot of time just starring at it this weekend! :)

 Now on to our living room. We didn't paint, just rearranged things and put up an awesome decal. And walla!! Tons more space! 

I literally just went through all of my pictures to find a good one of how it used to look.. No luck, so close your eyes and imagine a very crammed living room!

 Obviously I'm not the most talented interior designer but I think we did pretty good with what we had to work with! And let me add that Hobby Lobby and Michael's made this all possible ha! I'm loving it and my new camera. I can't wait to start on the rest of the house, and someday real soon my salon will be 100% finished!! (its taking a little longer than we anticipated!) Luckily my clients don't mind me doing kitchen hair! Love them :)
