bloopers

As a blogger I tend to overdo it on picture taking. But don't we all? And a good amount of those pictures are screw up pictures, like so..

I clearly look like I'm on drugs. I am not on drugs.
It's a blooper.

Perhaps your hair does something outrageous just in time to snap that pic.
It's a blooper.

 Blooper.

Squirrel!! Where?

 Blooper.

Apparently I do a lot of drugs.
Blooper.

The sneeze right as they push the button.
 Blooper.

 Baby blooper.

 The blink.
 Blooper.

The 7:00 in the morning going to have a baby picture.
found one of the hubby blooper.

 And my favorite...
I have no words for this blooper.

Why do human beings make such retarded faces?
Oh I know, so this girl has something to laugh at.

I broke the law

I'm a criminal in 48 states.
First I jay walked.
And then I played on a multi billion dollar air craft.
And if I was under 18, I would of broken curfew.
But don't worry, we weren't caught.
I can teach you a thing or two about breaking the law.
I'm pretty good at it!
I've never been to jail.
Did I just jinx myself?

The culprits.
 The crime scene.

I touched the butt.
Wait.. how do I get down?

Who cares, we're cute!

And in love.

Couples mugshot.

If you're in the CIA, MP, or a terrorist, disregard this post.

animals don't like me

I met my very pregnant friend at the zoo on Thursday. I must have a thing for zoo's, no?
She's only 3 weeks away from holding her little bundle of joy, I can't even explain how excited I am to meet my new daughter. I mean her daughter...
We're good friends. Like BFF4L type of friends.
Count it!

So we went to the zoo and all 6 of us piled into a tiny train car that was made for maybe 3 people?
It was hot. And squishy. And I'm not just talking about my tushy.
We learned that the alligator was born in 1966. That's the only thing I remember since I was too busy trying to breathe in and out like I was in labor in that tight little space. But I made it out alive and well. And no I'm not pregnant. At least I don't think I am?
Hold on let me check...
Count it!

We fed the giraffes crackers. Their tongues are waaaayy longer then I imagined. Well, you know what they say about long tongues right? Ha Ha Ha.
No?
Moving on..
Count it!
See what I mean? It went even longer after this shot!
It was a mini giraffe photo shoot..
We watched flamingos, or as Kyson says it Falingos fight. It was intense. I almost threw on my black and white striped referee shirt. But I forgot to wear it under my clothes.
Score Falingos-1 Ref Denise-0
Remember when I said I wanted to own my own petting zoo? Well I need baby falingo's in that zoo!
I was forced into the Creepy Crawlers building. Seriously, I went kicking and screaming.
I don't want to talk about it anymore.
The animals must not of liked us being there... They were all fighting like savages!
We even listened to the band play the National Anthem along with other songs that I don't know.
Then we ate dinner at my favorite little Mexican Restaurant outside of Utah.
I ate my weight in chicken soft tacos with no tomatoes.
And I even got a hug from my favorite little one year old that doesn't grow!
And if you know her, which none of you do, then you'll know she doesn't just give out hugs.
Big day for me!!

 My favorite one year old!
Count it!

You will now forever call them falingos huh?
You're welcome.

A much needed pool day all to myself! Don't you just love awkward pictures? It was a wee bit windy.

I can't get enough of his happy face!

Oh Texas. The only good thing about you is your sunsets.

I have been the worst blogger ever. Seriously someone needs to make me a worst blogger award and send it on over. It's not because I've been too busy, or haven't had anything to blog about its just... I've been bored with it? But I'm determined to snap out of it! On another note..
St George bloggers.. You know who you are. I will be visiting you next month! I only have a small window to play but I REALLY want to play! I'm leaving my little baby and dear husband behind and taking my own little vacation. How spoiled am I?! SO.. Let's make this happen, yes?

Fathers Day

To my Dad
Our relationship has grown tremendously in the last four years. We're closer now than we ever have been and I'm so thankful for it! You are always there when I need anything, and I am truly blessed to be your youngest daughter! You have set such a good example for me with being so smart with money, paying a full tithe, being so strong in the Church, and loving my Mother unconditionally! I love you so much and am so glad Kyson has you as a Grandpa!

To my husband
I've loved you since I was 10 and you were definitely worth the wait! Watching you raise a child with me has been the best experience of my life. You are truly an amazing Father and it makes you a more amazing husband. Kyson adores you and he lights up every time you're around! I'm looking forward to being your wifey for Eternity, I couldn't have picked a better Eternal companion!

To my Father in Law #1
You have been through so much in your life and it has made you such a strong man. Dave really looks up to you and has learned so much from you. You are always there with encouraging words and great advice for us. You spoil Kyson like no ones business and he loves it! I love having you on my 'phase 10 team' :)

To my Father in Law #2
I just realized I don't have a picture of you. at all! I remember the first time I met you, before Dave and I were married, Dave was deployed and I went to your house to play board games and to this day I have never seen you laugh so hard. I loved bonding with you and Shelly. Kyson loves spending the day at Nana and Papa's house and I really wish we lived closer so he could spend more time with his Grandpa!

I am truly so blessed to have these amazing men in my life! God knew what he was doing when he made my family!! I am so in love with my husband, he's an amazing father and has learned so much from his three dad's. I can't wait to have baby #2 with him in the nearer than far future ;)

Happy Father's Day

Bloggy Bestie Blate

After our cruise we were able to meet up with my very best bloggy friend in North Dakota. I seriously love this girl, we are so much alike and the best part? Our hubby's got along GREAT!! Even they became lifelong friends :)
This is Paula, you may know her from Life's Little Lessons (read her take on our day together here.)

I can't even explain how excited I was to finally meet this girl! She is the sweetest, prettiest, funnest person I've ever met and I am so happy to say that we will be friends forever. We got along so well from the first time we spoke here in blogland, we exchanged emails, facebook's, and phone numbers all in the first couple weeks of knowing each other. Anyways, enough of our stalking each other days..

We decided to meet up at the Dakota Zoo in Bismarck. Which really wasn't your typical zoo. It felt like a glorified nature walk! There were ginormous trees everywhere, it was beautiful! There weren't very many people there, which was nice and the animals were very active! If you ever go to a zoo? Go during the morning/early afternoon, that's when all the animals are getting fed so they are up and around. It was nuts!! Not only did we see the cutest animals ever we also saw bears having a water fight, wolves howling, monkeys making music, and a tiger sleeping, right above our heads! Oh yes, this zoo was AWESOME!

I decided that I want to own a petting zoo, full of miniature donkeys, and baby goats! I seriously could not get enough of them. I would let those little goats lick my fingers all day if Dave would have let me :)
Dave and Kyson inside the Prairie Dogs cage.. no big deal :)

While Kyson was playing on the playground flirting with his new girlfriend, us adults were taking pictures like this.. hahaha SO mature!

After the zoo, we went to a mall so Dave could buy some weightlifting supplements... Really Dave? You couldn't wait until after our double date? ;)
We went to Grizzley's for some seriously delicious food! Kyson did his best at embarrassing Mom and Dad, and boy did it work! He's good at that. But you better believe that before the night was over plans were made for an arranged marriage with Kyson and Paula! Age just doesn't matter when there is that much love between two people hahaha

We were so sad to say goodbye to our new friends! It was such a great day, all four five of us got along so well and we are already talking about the next time we get to play. It is so relieving that there is another couple out there as dorky as Dave and I. I'm glad we aren't the only ones who have dance offs in the kitchen and harmonize with each other from across the house :)

P.S. Notice anything different? I got a fabulous blog makeover by the amazing Brooke. Thank you Gentri  for referring her to me. I'm in LOVE with the new look!
