baby registry help

A couple months before we found out we were expecting a baby we sold all of our baby stuff. Crib, stroller, car seat, everything!! It was all pretty beat up and just taking up room in our house and we knew we wanted to replace everything anyways! Well here we are two weeks away from finding out the gender of our baby and the only thing we've purchased for the little one is a pack of diapers! And the only things we did keep was the high chair and the Pack N Play.

So I need your help with my baby registry.
What baby items do you love?
What items do you think is a waste of time?
Is there a certain swaddler you like? Or bottles, swings and formula that are better than others?

There are so many cool new baby things these days that didn't exist when we were shopping for baby Kyson. So please help a girl out! We're getting ready to register and we need some tips!
And because I'm reminiscing on having a baby...
I can't believe how much he's grown and changed. But still looks the same! ..sigh!

  4. aden + anais are the only swaddle blankets I use- they are amazing and great for everything! Also, if you want to babywear the Maya sling and the Beco baby carrier are my favorites.

  5. I truly wish I could help you out here but sadly I am far for the baby zone currently - but I do know my heart is set on a Bob stroller :) Can't wait to find out the gender of your new baby as well!!
    Hope things are going great!!!

  6. It's been a few years, but the BEST baby/toddler thing I have that I tell all my friends they HAVE is a Bob stroller. Even if you don't jog, they are the best. We have used ours for EVERYTHING (from basic strolls in the grocery store to outings in a bumpy, muddy meadow to running 5Ks) and it's the best. I loved aden + anais blankets and Drew was a big baby so he'd get hot easier. They are nice and light. Halo sleep sacks are awesome for infants, especially when they are so tiny and get cold easier! Drew did so well being snuggled up in that! Also, for your peace of mind, I'd recommend the angel care monitor with the motion sensor. If the infant stops breathing for a few seconds, and alarm will go off. I was so nervous about SIDS and this awesome monitor is super sensitive to movement and really calmed our fears!

  8. My top 3 favorite baby items: Bob stroller, aiden and anias swaddle blankets, and a moby wrap. Seriously could not get by without these 3 things! I'm so excited for you and can't wait to find out what you are having!

  9. I loved my Moby wrap--it was so helpful when Nolan only wanted to be held 24/7 and wouldn't lay down without crying. I wish I had kept him in it more--I miss all that cuddle time! :)

  10. We love our BOB stroller! If you're planning on breastfeeding it doesn't hurt to put a pump on the list. I don't know about other stores, but at target we had a coupon for anything that wasnt purchased off the registry? So, it'll help. (:
I'm not much help after that, my boys hated everything aiden liked and it was pretty much all trial and error. Haha

  11. I love my Joovy Double Stroller. But i have a side by side. I know that alot of people here at fairchild love the Graco Sit and stand double stroller. incase you want to get something for big brother to have the option of riding around in also. I know that a carrier can fit on it as well. Medela for Breast pump if you plan on breast feeding. Babies r us has good sells on it sometimes, we actually got mine at full price BUT we got over 100 bucks if Free stuff with it that werent samples but actually products from right on the shelf. I honestly didnt have anything fancy with the twins, alot of our stuff was 2nd hand actually. I do however like Dr Brown Bottles, and Gum drop binkys. Teething tablets are a must have. And Aveeno baby care products are the best since they dont dry out the skin.
