After saying goodbye to Dave's family, we headed south to St George to visit family for a few days. It was a quick trip. We literally dropped the kids off with Dave's mom while Dave and I went and had some couples pictures taken. And the next day Dave and I drove to Vegas to celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary! It was the best little getaway, just my man and I! It's so important for us to get some special one on one time, especially when it's for three days!
Our first night we stayed at Tahiti Village. It did not disappoint! Each room is like a small apartment! Bedroom, kitchen, living room, giant bathroom. It was amazing! And the pool? Ahh!! It was gorgeous. The pool is a beach style place with so many pools to choose from. They even had a projector screen poolside playing a movie. It was pretty crowded with kids everywhere. But I think that's expected since it's not a casino! Very family friendly! It was so fun. After swimming Dave and I had a nice, romantic evening. It was perfect and exactly what we needed!
Seeing pictures of Vegas makes me miss living there just a little bit.
