Presley girl: week 2

Time is flying by way. too. fast.
My little Presley is already two weeks old! I can't get enough of this girl, she's such a sweet baby.

Presley had blood drawn from her little ankle today, I made Dave do it so I didn't have to watch. I did the same thing when Kyson had it done.

She eats about 2-3 ounces every four hours.

She kept Mommy and Daddy up all night long for the first time two nights ago, but we managed! It's so hard to get frustrated with this little girl when you love her so much!

Presley girl does not like to be swaddled. She's all about  being able to wiggle around!

Her cord still hasn't fallen off so she hasn't gotten a real bath but man she was stinky so we gave her a sponge bath (we've been using bath wipes the hospital gave us). She loved it! Her hair is so fluffy when it's clean!

She thinks tummy time is nap time. But she loves being on her tummy!!

She does not like water! Her Doctor wants us to feed her 2 ounces of water every day and Presley just spits it out. Sorry Doc!

I finally captured a faint smile on camera. She's too sneaky and fast!

Kyson is still warming up to her. He still wont hold her but he will kiss her head and hold her hand. It melts my heart! He's more interested in his Lego's and Army Men. Silly boy!

  5. Happy Two weeks!! They grow so fast. Why does your Dr. Want you to be giving her water?? I've never heard of that. Everything I've ever read says that Infants don't need water because breast milk (if nursing) is like 80 something percent water. and Formula is mixed with Water......Even if it's Hot outside they say as long as the baby is drinking milk they will stay hydrated. And 2 oz for a newborn is a ton!! the water would fill her up so she doesn't drink as much milk with the nutrition in it. Funny how different Drs are. You are such a cute mom though!! Kepp it up!!
