weekend recap

Lately we've been pretty uneventful. We haven't been going on weekend getaways or dinner dates with friends and honestly? It's been perfect! Just me and my two boys soaking up our time together while it lasts. This summer is going to be a busy one and we couldn't be more excited about it but for now, we just want to be lazy. And lazy is what we've been!
We did take a drive outside of town and had a picnic. We went through a town of less than 500 people and it was so adorable. Cutest town ever full of some pretty neat history but the sun was going down so we didn't stop to enjoy it. We were too hungry! We found a place that apparently is gorgeous during the summertime when everything is green. Too bad it's winter and everything is dead! We still had fun!
Kyson got this little rocket launcher from his grandparents and he's completely obsessed with it. So of course we had to take it with us!

The rest of the weekend was spent watching the Super Bowl with lame commercials, eating way too much food, playing games until 1:00 AM and sleeping. I've been so tired lately and just can't get enough sleep! I even made Dave take me home from church after Sacrament just because I was soo tired. Ugh, so annoying!
How was your weekend?

  8. I love weekends like this. When you can kind of go with the flow. I'm really enjoying the slow winter. I also know that in a few months it will be so busy.

    P.S. your hair is gorgeous!
