I met my very pregnant friend at the zoo on Thursday. I must have a thing for zoo's, no?
She's only 3 weeks away from holding her little bundle of joy, I can't even explain how excited I am to meet my new daughter. I mean her daughter...
We're good friends. Like BFF4L type of friends.
Count it!
So we went to the zoo and all 6 of us piled into a tiny train car that was made for maybe 3 people?
It was hot. And squishy. And I'm not just talking about my tushy.
We learned that the alligator was born in 1966. That's the only thing I remember since I was too busy trying to breathe in and out like I was in labor in that tight little space. But I made it out alive and well. And no I'm not pregnant. At least I don't think I am?
Hold on let me check...
Count it!
We fed the giraffes crackers. Their tongues are waaaayy longer then I imagined. Well, you know what they say about long tongues right? Ha Ha Ha.
No?
Moving on..
Count it!
See what I mean? It went even longer after this shot!
It was a mini giraffe photo shoot..
We watched flamingos, or as Kyson says it Falingos fight. It was intense. I almost threw on my black and white striped referee shirt. But I forgot to wear it under my clothes.
Score Falingos-1 Ref Denise-0
Remember when I said I wanted to own my own petting zoo? Well I need baby falingo's in that zoo!
I was forced into the Creepy Crawlers building. Seriously, I went kicking and screaming.
I don't want to talk about it anymore.
The animals must not of liked us being there... They were all fighting like savages!
We even listened to the band play the National Anthem along with other songs that I don't know.
Then we ate dinner at my favorite little Mexican Restaurant outside of Utah.
I ate my weight in chicken soft tacos with no tomatoes.
And I even got a hug from my favorite little one year old that doesn't grow!
And if you know her, which none of you do, then you'll know she doesn't just give out hugs.
Big day for me!!
My favorite one year old!
Count it!
You will now forever call them falingos huh?
